๐ŸƒEpilogue

As you can see, Applied Data Science in My Garden is a book. These days, everyone seems busy and prefers to watch short videos to grasp the main ideas, or to use AI tools to summarize and quickly skim through text. How many people will truly walk through My Garden page by page? At best, they might copy the code and run it themselves. You might be wondering, why am I still writing this book? ๐Ÿ˜Œ

Completing each chapter took a great deal of efforts, learning new algorithms and tools, and experimenting with use cases that resemble real-world problems. After running all the experiments, writing them into a book that people in the AI/ML field could easily understand required even more work. I had to deeply grasp how everything functioned so I could present the concepts in a clear visual way. During the writing process, I often revisited the logic again and again to ensure everything made sense. And once a chapter was finished, sharing it on LinkedIn also took effort, itโ€™s part of presenting and promoting the work. Can you see how many skills I can gain through this process? ๐Ÿ˜„

To me, this is both an investment and a source of joy. It not only pushes me to think more deeply and act more practically in the applied AI/ML field, but also gives me a wonderful opportunity to design my own poker cards โ€” a way to express how I see the world and what I value. In My Garden, imagination knows no boundaries. Anything magical can happen here, itโ€™s my little utopia. ๐Ÿ˜‰

The chapter on Prompt Optimization was my first attempt at posting teasers on LinkedIn before completing the chapter. I wondered if this approach might help people understand the details better, rather than presenting the whole chapter at once. However, it didnโ€™t work as I had hoped. Without deep thinking and experimentation, what I shared earlier could be inaccurate. Moreover, posting several teasers without eventually sharing the complete work can create a sense of over-promising.

From now on, I will explore and post at my own pace, as before. Revising each page again and again until the entire chapter is complete and Iโ€™m satisfied with the result. Only then will I share it with the public. This is my best way to find the inner peace and joy while still sharing my work with others. ๐Ÿ’–

Taking good care of myself!
